About & Contact

Alexandra Stell is a recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design studying surface design and illustration. She now works at URBN and will continue her journey as Assistant Print designer at Terrain.

Alexandra (Lexi) Stell is an illustrator known for her strengths in surface design, versatility in multiple traditional mediums, and her incredible passion for creating patterns. Growing up in New Jersey, Lexi was surrounded by the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia, and New York City, which created life-impacting interests that fuel her artistic inspiration. As a surfer and skateboarder who's been involved with art her entire life, Lexi Stell looks towards her career illustrating patterns and designs for home decor and apparel.

Lexi is a hard-working designer who is consistently seeking constructive criticism and advice to improve her skills. During her time at the Savannah College of Art and Design, she was an active member of the Surface Design Club and the Hand Lettering Club, and served as the Creative Director for her recent SCADpro. She has claimed her BFA from SCAD this May, and is now working full-time for her dream job in Philly!

“She is the ultimate team player, an exceptional learner, and that rare breed of 'can-do' young person who I would hire in a heartbeat if I were starting up another company again. Present her with a task..of any variety..and you can feel confident she will deliver on it. Lexi is a super-sensitive, otherworldly-wise and expressive 'old soul' with a heart as big as the ocean.”

-Gary Stein (Miramax, Lionsgate, Gaylord Entertainment, Board of Directors of green households products pioneer Seventh Generation, and featured guest on the CBS radio show, "GutWizdom")

“Lexi is the most talented young artist I have ever met and kind, humble, and of gratitude.”

-Tiffani Taylor (world-renowned artist/gallery owner/professor)

“Lexi’s commitment shows the highest level of hard work and determination for growth. She always accomplishes the project guidelines and then does more than is expected. She shows a top level of design talent and the ability to take feedback and grow. Lexi actively participates in class discussions and critiques and gives thoughtful feedback to her peers, with an outgoing and positive attitude. She is extraordinarily kind, the first to show up for class and is a crucial member to lead out team to success.”
